Looking Back
One of two commissions for Christmas 2019, this new take on the Dickens classic would be produced and performed for The Old Bell and sit alongside our other Dickens adaptation, Scrooge. However, poverty, child abduction, theft, and murder aren't your typical festive fayre. Leave it to The Lost Boys to find a way, by returning to the original novel and blending parodied elements of Lionel Bart's lavish musical, our adaptation took hold. Three cast members playing the full roster of characters and plenty of interaction that saw audience members learning how to pick a pocket through a Dickensian TV game show...obviously. A show which took a while for us to find our hook and style but paid off in the end.
